Quantum Introduces New Rear-Wheel Drive Power Chair

Quantum Rehab has launched the R-Trak, its first new rear-wheel drive power wheelchair in over 10 years.

Quantum designed the R-Trak to be able to handle outdoors while still being small enough to fit in tight indoor spaces. It comes standard with Smooth Ride Suspension, which the company says provides greater stability when overcoming obstacles and when using the optional seat booster. LED lights integrated into the wheel arms and fenders are designed to add safety and visibility. The base of the R-Trak measures 24.2 inches wide. The chair has a maximum range of 16 miles and a maximum speed of 7 mph or 3.5 mph when using the seat lift feature.

There are many options to customize the R-Trak, including three different seating systems to meet your seat tilt, recline and lift needs. You can choose between two customizable drive controller systems. The Quantum backup camera can be added for day and night use. The R-Trak comes in 14 colors and you can mix and match the base and drive wheels.

The R-Trak is now available to order and is covered by most insurance plans. For more information visit Quantum rehabilitation.
