How I lost the perimenopause weight

My weight loss transformation happened thanks to PATIENCE and a PLAN.

Before [2020]: Overwork, overtraining, exhaustion, severe PMS, bad mood and negative AF. My stress hormones, cravings, and sleep were a mess, as was my thyroid and gut health. I was in a dark and sad place and felt really bad about myself. I also gained 10-15 pounds practically overnight.

After [2023]: Happy, full of energy, balanced and lost almost 15 pounds. I have regular periods, no pain, no hormonal symptoms, lots of energy and motivation, libido is back, thyroid is under control and I sleep through the night.

It’s important to note: I didn’t lose 15 pounds overnight and that, unfortunately, is where many women go wrong when it comes to changing their body during perimenopause.

Yes, we all want to see changes immediately. I understand. I felt so hopeless when I gained that extra weight.

And I didn’t understand what was happening with my body… I felt out of control, horrible (both physically and emotionally) and no clothes fit. I specifically remember buying new shorts two summers in a row and feeling very depressed and hopeless.

But I knew that if I wanted to be healthy and lose weight, I needed…
