HCA Florida Blake Hospital (Bradenton, Florida) broke ground on HCA Florida Palmetto Emergency, a freestanding emergency department (ED) in Palmetto, Florida, according to the website heraldtribune.com.
The $15 million project will include 11 exam rooms.
In addition to full-service emergency care, the 10,800-square-foot ED will house laboratory, x-ray, CT, ultrasound and pharmacy services.
The facility is expected to open in summer 2024.
